Day 64

Chance has been busy building sole and frog this past month, which is exactly what his foot needed to do. During his third trim, the excess sole and frog that had built up peeled off with very little coaxing, revealing a very nice concavity to the sole.

With the build-up of frog and sole material, we know that the interior structures of the foot in general, and the digital cushion and lateral cartilages in particular, are toughening up and realigning themselves into a more natural, functional configuration.
