Day 51

Chance's feet have undergone major remodeling both externally and internally in the 7 weeks he has been at the Rehab Clinic.

Externally, his heels have widened a full finger's width, his frog and soles have thickened and there is a definite concavity to his soles.

Internally the changes that are taking place within the hoof capsule, although not visible to the naked eye, are just as important as those taking place outside. For more information on rehabilitatiing the internal structures of the hoof, check out our Articles : on "The Naturally Sound Foot" and "Navicular Syndrome".
