Steve Karshner's ambition is to bring relief to as many horses as possible by reversing the crippling effects of founder and navicular syndrome and restoring the horse's foot to its naturally sound condition.
This is accomplished by offering natural hoof care rehabilitation to horses who are sent to our Equine Rehab Center, and by traveling the country delivering clinics to educate the public on the natural foot and natural hoof care rehabilitation methods for navicular and foundered horses.
These clinics are presented in one of two formats:
Educationaly, in which Steve's knowledge is shared in a seminar presentation, with opportunity for Q&A with the attendees.
Clinicly, in which a limited number of horses are accepted for natural hoof care rehabilitation in their local area. Here, Steve combines hands-on rehab with education of the owner on the fundamentals of natural hoof care and rehab as it applies to their horse. (This format requires a commitment by the participants of a minimum of two months of follow-up visits to ensure the success of the rehabilitation.)
